CJCS Jordan Armed Forces Calls on Pakistan COAS in Rawalpindi

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordan Armed Forces, Major General Yousef Ahmed A. Al Huneiti, met with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Thursday, according to a statement released by ISPR.

The meeting featured comprehensive discussions on issues of shared interest, the prevailing regional security environment, and ways to further strengthen defence and military collaboration between Pakistan and Jordan. The Jordanian military chief praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and recognized their vital role in promoting peace and stability in the region.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to deepening defence ties with Jordan and underscored the need for close cooperation to effectively respond to emerging regional and global security challenges. Both sides concluded the engagement by expressing a mutual determination to expand and reinforce military-to-military cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
