The 50th edition of the Chief of the Army Staff Polo and Tent Pegging Championship 2025 came to an end with a concluding ceremony held at Jinnah Polo Fields in Lahore, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. The event was also attended by the interior minister, the chief secretary of Punjab, senior officials, and a large gathering of spectators.
On his arrival at the venue, the field marshal was welcomed by the Lahore Corps Commander and the chairman of the Pakistan Polo Federation.
The annual championship highlighted the Pakistan Army’s longstanding commitment to sports, embodying values of discipline, professionalism, and competitive excellence.
A total of eight teams competed in the tournament, with Peshawar Corps claiming the championship title, while Gujranwala Corps finished as runners-up.
At the conclusion of the event, the chief guest presented trophies and awards to the winning and participating players, appreciating their performance and sportsmanship.
