ISLAMABAD: Commander National Strategic Command (CNSC) General Syed Aamer Raza, HI (M), S Bt, held separate meetings with Pakistan’s naval and air chiefs in Islamabad, where matters of professional interest were discussed.
General Syed Aamer Raza called on Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M), T Bt, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), at Naval Headquarters (NHQ). He later met Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, NI (M), HJ, at Air Headquarters.
During the meetings, Admiral Naveed Ashraf and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu congratulated General Syed Aamer Raza on assuming command of the National Strategic Command as its first Commander.

The meetings provided an opportunity for the senior military leadership to exchange views on matters of professional interest and discuss issues relevant to their respective responsibilities.
General Syed Aamer Raza’s appointment as the first Commander of the National Strategic Command marks the beginning of leadership under the newly established command structure. His separate engagements with the chiefs of the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force also underscore coordination among the senior leadership of the country’s armed forces.
At Naval Headquarters, General Syed Aamer Raza and Admiral Naveed Ashraf discussed professional matters, while his subsequent meeting with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu at Air Headquarters focused on issues of mutual professional interest.
The interactions come as Pakistan’s armed forces continue to emphasize coordination among their different services and commands to address evolving security and strategic requirements.
Both meetings were held in Islamabad.
