Col Nabeel Ahmed Rana Elected President of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation

Pakistan Army officer Colonel Nabeel Ahmed Rana has been elected as the President of the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) during meetings of the Executive Committee and General Council held in Islamabad.

Officials said the nomination was put forward by former PTF president Lt Col (retd) Raja Wasim Ahmed at the joint session. The proposal was subsequently endorsed by representatives of provincial units, departments, and service organizations, who unanimously supported Col Nabeel’s election, reflecting strong consensus within the federation.

In his remarks after assuming the role, Col Nabeel expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and said he would approach his responsibilities with dedication, foresight, and resolve.

He outlined plans to strengthen the sport’s organizational framework, improve athlete development systems, and enhance Pakistan’s presence and performance in international taekwondo competitions, aiming to raise standards both domestically and abroad.
