The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations held a special interactive session with students participating in the ISPR Summer Internship 2026 programme, with discussions centred on national security, terrorism and the responsible use of social media.

During the session, the DG ISPR answered a wide range of questions from the participating students, offering detailed explanations on topics related to national security and information awareness. Students said the discussion helped clear up misunderstandings and doubts they previously held regarding various national security issues.

Participants also noted that briefings on the situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, along with clarification on hostile propaganda narratives circulating online, gave them a clearer understanding of ground realities. Students said the DG ISPR’s fact-based explanations addressed many of their questions and helped remove existing confusion on these matters.

Following the session, participants of the Summer Internship 2026 expressed their resolve to promote accurate information and play a positive role in countering anti-state propaganda on digital platforms.

More than 6,000 students from across Pakistan are taking part in the ISPR Summer Internship 2026 programme, which is being conducted at 21 stations nationwide, reflecting the scale of the initiative aimed at engaging Pakistan’s youth on matters of national importance.
